Breaking YoshiWii1's SonAmy Hints of 2013 (Part 1)

1) For those of you who don't know already? Amy didn't actually originate from the games. She first appeared in the Japanese Manga sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic_the… She wasn't pink in the manga. Instead she was blonde. She was the girlfriend of Nicky whose alter ego is Sonic. sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Nicky Nicky was often jealous of Sonic (he didn't know he really was Sonic himself the whole time) because Amy seemed to like Sonic more. Tails also appeared in this manga too as Sonic's best friend.

Her name's Eimi in this old manga, that was published in 1992. Eimi and Nikki are both a cute little couple, that have fun in their hedgehog life. Nikki is constantly bullied by his rival Anton. When things get too hectic, Nikki becomes Sonic, saving the day. Dogman catches wind of Sonic's big reveal, and then, goes after him.

Eimi still loves Nikki, though. If she didn't, then she would have dropped their relationship like a hat. She loves Sonic in a fangirl-way, because he's a hero that had saved her multiple times from Anton and Dogman. Eimi believes that Sonic is an entirely different hedgehog, and so does Sonic! And if you read the manga, Sonic shows no interest in Eimi. He asks if she is all right nonchalantly. Nikki is the only one that shows upmost interest and care in her, and Eimi loves Nikki because of his strong sense of justice, even though he is weak.

Oh, and Eimi being blonde in the manga is true.

2) When Sonic CD was in development. Amy was brought into the games as the first female and only female for a while. Sega and Sonic Team wanted a girl for Sonic so they put her in the game. They redesigned her to be Pink instead of Blonde. Another hint right there. Sonic is blue while Amy is Pink! Blue and Pink is a symbol of boyfriend and girlfriend. If Sega didn't want Sonic to have a girl? Why did they bring Amy in the games? They didn't have to do that. But they wanted to so they did it. Plus why did they make Amy pink? They must have been a complete accident if they didn't want her to be with Sonic?

If you remember vividly from the Sonic comics, Amy Rose got herself in a lot of situations that were usual captures by Eggman. She was somewhat easy to kidnap, which could be the biggest reason why they brought her to Sonic CD - they needed a reason for Sonic to go after Eggman and Metal Sonic... so Amy got captured!

I could say many things about the 'blue and pink' assumption. One, Sonic was blue to begin with, for eons. Amy Rose happened to become pink was because Tails was already a blonde character. Pink was to symbolize her name and give notice of a female hedgehog to the audience. Female fans seeing Amy Rose as pink would automatically become appealing to know that its not just all male characters.

I mean, Rainbow Dash is a blue pony, and Pinkie Pie is a pink pony. Does this mean they are dating?! GASP. No, they aren't. So, your color-scheme method is illogical.

Why did they bring Amy to the games, you ask. Well, why did they bring Tails to the games? Why did they bring Knuckles to the game? What about Eggman and Metal Sonic? Maybe its because all these characters were a big hit within Sonic CD, that they had to bring them to the Sonic games later in future. It's the reason why you see the main protagonists/antagonists on Sonic Adventure - they all originated from Sonic CD!

Why are you questioning Amy Rose's fur color so pretentiously? Amy is pink because of her name's meaning, and her personality. Get over it.

3) Amy was CLEARLY designed to be in love with Sonic. Not Shadow or Silver. Shadamy and Silvamy are fan made. Amy only loves Sonic and is loyal to him. Also note that Amy Rose in Japanese is a play on love. Which Amy is nickname for love while Rose is a beautiful flower symbolizing love.

The meaning of Amy's first name is the French definition of, "beloved." Rose symbolizes the beauty and color of the actual flower. Yes, Amy Rose does mean that, but nothing towards Sonic. Amy herself represents her colors - pink fur, red dress, red boots, and a red headband. Also, green eyes, symbolizing the stem of a rose.

Honestly, in my opinion of Amy? She represents the spunk and heartfelt love to the young female generation of before and now.

And why are you being so persnickety about the other shippings? Yes, SilvAmy and ShadAmy are both fanmade, but that doesn't mean people cannot support it. I support ShadAmy because its my OTP, and I'm completely fine with SilvAmy (they're really cute.) SonAmy is just as fanmade as the other pairings within the Sonic Universe. They are all fanmade because the creators themselves never declared them to be canon.

Every single Sonic couple is FANMADE. Yes, even SonAmy is false.

4) Why did Amy appear in almost every Sonic game since CD? That means they favorite over any other female in Sonic. Like I said earlier? They really didn't want a girl for Sonic if they make her appear in almost every game. She has even been in more games than Knuckles!

Amy Rose gave a big impression upon the young audience of Sonic CD. If she was such a great character to the fans, why in the world would Sonic Team discard her? They wouldn't, because the fans loved her.

Not only does Amy Rose appear in many games, guy; Tails has likely appeared in more Sonic games than Amy ever had. Knuckles had appeared in the Sonic comics more than her, and he was introduced in Sonic 3, which brought him up to more appearances in video games in the future as much as Amy.

5) Why is Amy the ONLY female hedgehog and the only female for a while in Sonic? Again they must have done that on accident if they didn't want Sonic to have a girl.

Sonic doesn't have a girlfriend. Where are you getting your ideas?

And if you may have forgotten, Sally Acorn herself had appeared more times in Sonic than Amy Rose. She started with Sonic basically, and pretty much ended with him. Mina Mongoose also appeared many times in Sonic, alongside with Blaze the Cat, Bunnie Rabbot, Julie-Su, and even Fiona.

6) In Sonic Adventure, when you first run into Amy at the Casino. Amy appears before Sonic and he backs away and stutters. MAJOR HINT right there. Why was he talking l...l...ike....this? He would not have done that he really didn't like her.

If you are rusty on your Sonic history: Sonic avoids Amy Rose at all costs. Whenever he sees Amy, Sonic knows he's in for it - Amy practically glomps Sonic at any given chance she has her eyes set on him, which is why Sonic runs, before he is pulled into a bone-crushing embrace by the pink hedgehog.

Oh, and also, Amy is spontaneous with beating Sonic up for odd/no reasons, so that's another reason why Sonic doesn't want to stay awhile with her in conversations.

7) In that same scene, Sonic was teasing Amy a bit by refusing to help "Birdie". A boy teasing a girl is a sign that he secretly likes her.

No, he wasn't teasing Amy. He was just trying to avoid Amy by giving a quick 'no,' before running off fast. You could actually tell in Sonic's tone of voice that he was speaking, "holy shit dis girl cray-cray, gotta run!"

8) The scene after that WHY IN SAM HILL WAS SONIC WALKING WITH AMY TOGETHER BY TWINKLE PARK!? www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkHUno… That proves than when Sonic ran away in the previous scene he was only bluffing!

This is one of those counted plotholes, actually. The Sonic games are well-known for their mistakes in storylines.

In Amy's story, she runs up to Sonic when she spots him standing in front of Twinkle Park's entrance. In Sonic's story, he is seen strolling with Amy conveniently towards Twinkle Park, which is where both their next quests begins. See the plothole? Sonic Team isn't so great with timelines (Sonic '06 reference.)

Amy needs to run from Eggman's robot, and Sonic has to go save her before she's captured (but she gets captured anyways.)

9) Cute Couples get in free. They did didn't they? Plus why is there a love themed park there anyway? I thought they DIDN'T want Sonic to be with Amy?

Are you implying that Twinkle Park, an amusement park publicly opened to the citizens of Station Square, was STRICTLY created only for Sonic and Amy Rose? If you actually speak to the people of SS, they will talk about Twinkle Park, and then wonder if they should take their sweetheart there or not. There is likely a large majority of couples in Station Square - not just Sonic and Amy.

And they both call each other names, such as Sonic calling Amy, "crazy," and Amy calling Sonic, "a pain." Yup, that's love. NOT.

10) In Sonic Adventure 2, why did Amy go all the way to Prison Island to rescue Sonic? Without Tails or ANYONE ELSE taking her there!

Amy Rose is pretty much crazy-in-love with Sonic, that she is willing to do crazy antics in order to save him. Oh, and Tails did help Amy Rose get into the prison to break the jailbird out. He helped break pass the barrier, eliminate enemies, and reach their goal to Sonic's location.

11) Amy only hugged Shadow because she thought he was Sonic. Everyone mistook Shadow for Sonic in the game. Other wise the plot of the game would be different.

Actually, this is another plothole. After Sonic and Shadow are distinguished from looking alike after Sonic was broke out of prison. I find bullshit that Sonic turned himself in during the Sonic X episode, cause that just means the first escape he made in the beginning of Sonic Adventure Battle 2's Hero Story was counted as a plothole.

But, anyways, yes - the story would be different if folks could easliy tell the two hedgehogs apart. However, I'd like to point out that Shadow wasn't irritated or attacking Amy when she hugged him. You can actually see a smile on his face after Amy takes her hands off of him. Heehee...

12) Amy was ONLY teasing Sonic by asking him "If I tell you would you marry me?" She was gonna release anyway. Sonic was also bluffing again when he said "No way!!" Amy didn't take this seriously and released him. She was only enjoying the fact that she had the key to his freedom!

Yes - while the world is in peril, Amy will still joke around just to make Sonic bluff. I'd like to point out again that Amy is a crazy fangirl that wants Sonic bad. Like, 'I'm gonna stalk him and force him to marry me," bad. Sonic found her question time-consuming, so he barked a blatant reponse. You can tell in his voice that he was irritated, that he was becoming impatient. Amy understands that he needs to go stop Shadow and Eggman, and releases him.

She even calls Sonic a brat after he left her behind in the cell. Not much of a boyfriend, is he?

13) Why was Sonic so worried when Amy was being held at gunpoint by Eggman on the Space Colony Ark? I thought he didn't like her?

I'm sorry - you mean, if your friend/family was held at gunpoint, and you were the only guy able to save them from sudden death, YOU wouldn't get a little fucking worried? Or, are you only allowed to save them if you have romantic feelings for them? That's sick.

14) When Sonic comes to rescue Amy. Eggman holds Amy for Ransom telling him to hand over the Emerald and then we can talk about your "girlfriend." HA! Sonic didn't even deny it! Nor did he argue back or had any kind of reaction!

Eggman had known Amy Rose her entire life basically, back in the 1992 manga, to now. He is fully aware of Amy's affection towards Sonic, so of course, Eggman would like to jab at Sonic with the the joke of calling Amy his "girlfriend."

15) In the same scene, Eggman captured Sonic in the capsule. Sonic tells Tails that he is counting on him. Then he says to Amy, "And Amy.....Take care of yourself." Notice his voice got softer and he paused for a moment. Amy cries badly when the capsule explodes, devastated that the love of her life is dead, supposedly.

Sonic believed that he was going to truly die, as much as Tails and Amy did. He gave his last words in such a broken-hearted state because he wouldn't be able to stay back to protect his friends - his major reason of always being the hero.

He told Amy to take care of herself in a sense of, "you're a strong person, Amy. You can pull through this life without me."

And another thing to add - dying family members/friends would also say the same thing to their friends before they pass away. Sonic knows Amy looks up to him, and so, he told her to move on while he supposedly died. My cousin said the same thing to me before he also passed away when I was fifteen.

16) When Knuckles caught an dazed Sonic. He told Knuckles that he was worried about Tails AND AMY and told him to help them.

Sonic's coming back with a vengeance for what Eggman did to him. He needs to go save Tails and Amy before everything goes to Hell - you can obviously hear in his voice that he was determined to make things right again.

17) In the ending of Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic is quite saddened by the death of Shadow. Looking out the window. Amy comforts him asking him if there is something wrong? He pauses for a moment then replies back and says its nothing. Telling her let's go home to the planet as blue as me! Giving her a thumbs up! Sonic doesn't want Amy to know that he is really sad about Shadow. The fact that Amy when out of her way and comfort him proves she really does love him.

Sorry, but - DUH, Amy loves Sonic.

And, what do you mean, "go out of her way?" Are you implying that Amy is a heartless witch that doesn't care about her friends is she saw them crying over another friend's loss? I believe you do not know Amy Rose at all, Yoshi. She's an open-hearted hedgehog that also has the strong sense of justice and kindness, and is like a big sister to those that are younger than her (Cream and Cheese, Cosmo, Tails.) She isn't shallow.

18) In the Sonic Heroes Manual take a look at this? Read the very last sentence under Amy's description. info.sonicretro.org/images/e/e… MAJOR HINT RIGHT THERE!

Again, are you implying that Sonic hates Amy? This manual's description means nothing, tbh. Sonic doesn't hate Amy, nor has romantic feelings towards the pink girl. He just sees her as a long-time friend. Mayhaps that small sentence you find cryptic is a simple jab at the SonAmy fans to dig deeper into nothing, such as yourself.

19) In Team Sonic's story, when they run into Team Rose. Sonic is surprised to see Amy. He would have NO reaction if he didn't like Amy.

This is the same as my answer to question 6. Sonic reacts because Team Rose is going to beat the shit out of them because they believed that Team Sonic had Choco the Chao and Froggy with them. Even Amy is willing to to whoop Sonic's ass just to capture him.

20) During the Team Rose Battle, Knuckles says this quote, "Are you playing with that girl's heart again Sonic?"

Referring to Sonic history, Knuckles is also a long-time friend/enemy to Sonic, so of course, he's going to also take a jab at the joke to make Sonic react, even though Knuckles knows they aren't dating.

21) In Team Sonic's ending, look VERY CLOSELY at Sonic expression when Amy begins chasing him? He is running and smiling! Also notice that he is not running at full speed. Trust me Sonic can run WAAAAAAAAYYY faster than that. Amy is right behind him! This means again that he is only bluffing.

You can hardly tell whether Sonic is smiling or not in that moment. And if he is, he's just glad to see that Amy is fine - they blew up an entire ship of Eggman's! It was nothing in a romantic sense of Sonic's "smile."

And also, do you not know the range of Amy's stanima/speed? Amy Rose is almost at the same range of speed as Sonic, but still falls short, which is why she's only close behind the blue blur.

22) In the Final Story Amy didn't want Sonic face Metal Sonic alone. She was worried about him because she loves him.

Amy loves Sonic you say? DUH.

23) In the ending again he is not running at full speed, Tails is following him too.

You should understand that Sonic isn't the fastest thing alive. In the old-school Sonic games, Tails, Knuckles and Eggman can keep up with Sonic's speed. Hell, Eggman can outrun Sonic himself! Newer games today shows that Amy Rose and Shadow can also keep up, as well as Jet the Hawk, Espio the Chameleon, Rouge the Bat, and Blade the Cat. So, yes, Sonic isn't very fast.

The whole question was about marriage ONLY. All he said was "He thinks that Sonic won't likely get married to Amy and have kids." He NEVER said Sonic can't be in love or date Amy. Because later on he ACTUALLY WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON A DATE WITH HER! Of course, haters very often twist this quote and say that Sonic can't be in love at all and he hates her. That is 100% false. The quote only mentioned marriage people! Sonic can tell be in love with Amy and NOT get married. This is quite common actually for couples to be in love with each other very much and not get married. My aunt isn't married to her boyfriend and has kids. Sonic and Amy can still fall in love and date because remember they supposed to be on a date. Also keep in mind that Yuji Naka no longer works at Sega since he left in 2006. He is no control over the series now.

Yes, Naka said this. But, he didn't mean it in a direct matter of Sonic ONLY dating Amy. Sonic is opened to date/love any other female in the series. I hate to break your ego, but haters don't think Sonic hates Amy. They just don't like the characters being shipped together forcibly, such as myself. I love Sonic and Amy as characters, but I don't support SonAmy, because of fans like you who force this ship to become canonical, which will never happen.

Also, your argument of Sonic's possibility of dating Amy could be proven invalid. In the Sonic Boom conference, Amy Rose's creator(s) announced that Sonic and Amy's relationship is one-sided - meaning Amy Rose loves Sonic, but Sonic feels nothing towards her. This means that Sonic has no romantic intentions, but wants to only be friends with the pink girl. So, yes, this couple is FANMADE.

25) In Sonic Advance 3, Sonic was surprised to see Amy. Again he was talking l..l...ike...th...th..is.. and he had a sweat drop. Once again he was teasing her. Amy even knows that he is just teasing her!

And again, crazy fangirlism. Sonic needs to run for the hills before she breaks his bones in another crushing embrace! AND FORCES HIM TO MARRY HER!

26) When you pair Sonic and Amy up together. The caption reads "A Lovely Couple." Why did it say that? HUH!?

First off, why are you emphasizing the word, "huh," like that? Are you immature?

And to answer the question, I can honestly say that it was for a joke. This sort of gag happens often between two couples in television shows and other video games just for a laugh. You can also see that Sonic looks disappointed when his arm is hooked around Amy's. A sweatdrop appears, and he is just has the expression of, "really? really? why this pair, player?"

27) In the ending of Sonic Advance 3, when Sonic wakes up. He is greeted by Tails, Amy and Cream. Amy of course hugs him and cries. Sonic gets a sweat drop and he puts his hand around Amy's head as she is hugging him!

"Erm... there, there, Amy..." Sonic pats the top of Amy's head, as he looks away in reluctance, with a sweatdrop running down the side of his face. He just woke, and already he has the rising urge to run before her arms lock around him like an unbreakable chain.

28) In Sonic Riders, when you first encounter Amy. She winks at Sonic and he goes ew. Again teasing. You know he enjoyed that deep down inside!

Amy states to Sonic, "and besides - this way, I'll be able to keep a closer eye on you," and winks. Sonic shows a strain of disgust, because she just implied that she was going to stalk his ass throughout the mission. Lol.

29) In the ending of the Hero Story in Sonic Riders, Sonic was again teasing Amy. By making an excuse saying he "thought it would be okay with her. That she got sucked up along with Eggman." Sonic, Sonic your like a male version of Helga from Hey Arnold!

I've watched "Hey, Arnold!" my entire childhood to know that this TV show and the Sonic game DO NOT TIE TOGETHER. Amy is not a bully like Helga, and Sonic isn't quiet and calm like Arnold. They are actually the polar-opposites of Arnold and Helga!

Sonic thought Amy could tough it out, after he succeeded in destorying yet another of Eggman's plans. Of course, Sonic is a klutz, that would likely put any person's life in danger, even though he's trying to save it. Meh - Amy's love level woul decrease at this point, knowing Sonic would plunge anyone in disaster by pure accident.

30) In Sonic 2006, this is where the hints become more and more common. After Sonic fights Silver, Silver gains the upper hand and is about to finish Sonic but Amy guards Sonic risking her life to save his. Sonic appreciates Amy saving him and lets him escape. Silver gets angry at Amy telling her that Sonic is responsible for destroying his world. Amy believes Sonic saying that he would never do that. Even if it were true. Amy will choose to believe in Sonic. That proves she is loyal to him and always believes in him.

What Amy proclaimed was completely out of here character. Remember, Sonic '06 wasn't developed greatly - especially with the canon characters' personalities.

Amy Rose loves Sonic because he's a hero. If Sonic were to suddenly switch into an evil villain, and kill innocents and abuse his power, Amy would seriously drop her love for him! She would never follow an evil-doer into the wrong path! She believes in justice, not destruction!

31) In the Trials Of Solienna, there is a test called "Trial Of Love." Where you get to choose your love interest. Princess Elise or Amy? Right when it starts. They place you to face Amy on the right! Why did they place you there as the first choice? Also notice that Amy is on the right side of the screen and Elise is on the left? Amy is the right choice get it? Amy is on the right side of the screen and she is considered the right choice? Anyway, when you choose Amy. The man says this quote right here. "I see you have chosen your long time love." YOUR LONG TIME LOVE! Why did he say that? It must have been a typo. Sonic '06 is bugged (remember), so he entered the short trial by accidentally facing Amy. She even has to remind Sonic that Princess Elise is at the left. And, it wouldn't make much of a difference if Elise and Amy were switched in spots - Elise being right, and Amy being left. Long time love? The trial-man also says the same about Princess Elise - because the creators didn't bother with changing dialogue. Hell - they don't even change with the appearances of their trials-men. This was actually a pointless challenge to show that Sonic has the hots for the Princess (the creators were aiming for that.)

32) When Sonic was killed by Mephiles. Amy of course took it the hardest and cried more extensively than all the other characters.

Well, what about Princess Elise? Not only did the Princess take it hard, but it broke her emotionally to where she cried and unleashed the beast within. Sonic's friends were just as equally broken as Amy and Elise. And also again, Amy sees Sonic as her role-model, so of course she is crying her eyes out. The person she looks up to the most is dead. I cried when I heard Robin Williams was dead (my idol is dead!)

33) Princess Elise has only been in one game while Amy has been around since the very beginning. Of course people were very pissed that Elise kissed Sonic instead of Amy. Some thought Sega supported bestiality. But they denied it. Remember once you beat the game. All the events got erased from the timeline. Meaning that Sonic never met Elise. So there Sonelise is not real.

As much as I don't support SonElise, there are actually possibilities that the two may still remember each other in the end (because the story's plot is so screwed up, any character could remember each other, even if a timeline was erased.) Sonic sees Elise celebrate the festival and smiles at how she is still alive and well. He even "calls out" to her when he dashes pass the boat she sails on through the city. She also has some memory of the hedgehog when she gives a clue of how the gush of wind reminds her of him. Sonic may have a soft spot for Elise, otherwise he wouldn't waste his time returning to see her again.

And, are you saying that people shouldn't support SonElise because of your mere assumption? Even if people do not like the pairing, there are still some that do, so let them ship freely.

34) In Sonic and the Secret Rings, there is a special booklet in game. In the first chapter is a history of Sonic games. In the Sonic CD page, it says "Meet Amy Rose, Sonic's ever-cheerful love interest." That is right! It actually said that! www.deviantart.com/art/Sonamy-…

Amy Rose is a self-proclaimed girlfriend of Sonic's, if you don't know. She most likely inspired the description to sound funny, and that Sonic likes her. Well, likes her as a friend. You know something? There are actually other love-interests that Sonic has, other than just Amy Rose, such as Blaze, Rouge, and Tikal.

35) In Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, when the gang arrives at MeteorTech. They get attacked by robots. Sonic guards Amy more longer than he needed to. Amy's a big girl she can help herself but Sonic chose to still guard her.

It's because Amy is carrying the Ark Stone that the robots are after, actually. You know, the key of ultimate disaster to the world? These robots are fearsome beasts and are ordered to capture the stone at any means nessecary, so of course, Sonic is there to protect Amy from any of them going to harm her in order to retrieve the stone.

And you DO NOT need to have romantic feelings for someone just to protect them. I was protected from a bully by my friends. My big Brother scared a bunch of kids away from me because they were cussing me out for no reason.

36) In that same scene. Jet starts talking rudely to Amy demanding her to hand over the Ark of the Cosmos. Sonic's expression doesn't look very happy and he was pretty ticked that Jet was treating Amy like that. He says "Hold up a minute? Girls hate guys who rush them Jet!" Why did Sonic stand up for Amy like that? That is something a boyfriend who do to a girlfriend!

If you honestly don't understand women - they DO hate being rushed. And also, Amy is Sonic's friend - he isn't going to let anyone talk shit about his hamies. And another thing - Jet and his crew are always talking smack about Sonic's team - especially towards Tails, and Knuckles, and Sonic himself. Of course Sonic doesn't like it when they're doing that sort of shit.

37) In Sonic Chronicles, you have the option of doing a romantic sub-plot with Amy. If done correctly, she will reveal that Dexter was all made up to make Sonic jealous and Sonic admits that he really cares for Amy. NO WAY IN HELL WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO DO THAT IF HE DIDN'T LIKE HER!

You're only pointing out snippets of the scenario. Sonic doesn't seriously give a shit about "Dexter," because he knows Amy is making it up to get him to react. Sonic obviously cares about her well-being (they were going to fight an enemy that could end their lives and world.) Sonic told Amy that she was important and that he deeply cared - but not in that romantic sense. It was their history together that tied them into a bonding-friendship, and Sonic cares for her as much as he cares for all his friends.

And either way throughout the side-quest of SonAmy, Sonic looks like he doesn't give a fuck about it.

38) Now we are really starting to get somewhere. In Sonic Unleashed, Amy hugs Werehog Sonic and fails to recognize him thinking she got the wrong person (she really did get the right person.) Sonic is in his WereHog form - he's absolutely bummed because he realizes that no one will recognize him as his original self. They just see him as some big, hairy monster. 39) When you save Amy from the Dark Gaia. Sonic pulls a Spiderman! What I mean by this is he doesn't want Amy to think of him negatively and doesn't want her to see him as this scary evil looking thing. When Spiderman was in the Symbiote form, he didn't want Mary Jane to see him differently.

40) Amy STILL loved Sonic in Werehog form! She was willing to help Professor Pickle and Sonic. That right there is unconditional love. She was willing to sacrifice herself for Sonic in 06. She still believed in Sonic no matter what. She never gave up on him. She was ALWAYS LOYAL to him. Even when Sonic treated her badly. She STILL loved him. Many of you don't realize this but this proves that Amy is a very loving person. Sonic is extremely lucky to have a girl that would love him like that?

Another pointless jab. And how do you know Chip was directing the question towards Amy Rose? Chip doesn't even know about Amy, other than she mistakes hedgehogs for Sonic all the time. 42) Also in the PS3/360 versions. Near the end of the game before you fight the final boss. You have the option of taking Amy on a date where you can choose to say "That could be fun" or "I'll pass, thanks." Notice that "That could be fun" is the first choice and the top choice. Again, this means nothing. The creators could easily switch the options around to where the decline option could be top, and the accept option could be bottom. Other video games that have side-quests do the same thing, and you can accept to take the task or not. Take Skyrim for example - the options can switch spontaneously without notice. These option changes can also happen in the Harvest Moon games when you're speaking to the locals and they ask you a question.

43) In Sonic and the Black Knight, in the very beginning. Sonic is seen with two Chili Dogs while being sucked into the Arthurien world. He only eats one of them. Let me ask you something? Why would he have 2 chili dogs? You will find out why in the next few hints.

This may be myself thinking too hard, but, Sonic may have a thing for royalty. He was absolutely smitten with Sally (a princess,) and he was also swept-off his feet for Elise (a princess.) He also had a soft-spot for Rouge, even though Rouge felt nothing. Sonic may know fully well that this counterpart isn't Amy Rose, and just likes her for her different, mature personality and her royalty. Sonic's a dick.

If you remember the cutscene of Nimue well, she acts very lady-like and mature. I could say that if Sonic does date, he could likely want someone mature, and perhaps someone a year older than him. I'm sorry...

45) In the ending of Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic was telling Amy all about what happened in the game. Amy tells him it was just an excuse for missing their date! That means that the 2 chili dogs from Hint 43 were meant for both of them! Sonic would have said no to a date if he didn't like Amy! Keep in mind this game was released 3 months after Sonic Unleashed and was the very next Sonic game released after Unleashed.

46) In Sonic Free Riders, once again Sonic is teasing Amy and her Team! How come he didn't act like this with Rouge or Wave? Because he doesn't have feelings for them!

You MUST be rusty with Sonic and his personality. Sonic is a cocky, competitive dude with attitude, that would love to taunt his opponents to get 'em mad. The way he speaks about Team Rose is just how Knuckles says, "how did we get stuck racing these jokers?" Sonic pretty much sees everything as weak competition, and he's in it to win it. Even if it means leaving Amy in the dust. Second point to Sonic being a dick.

And Sonic was most likely teasing them. He seems to have a weird vibe for Rouge, and I think he hates Wave because she isn't so sweet to Tails.

47) In Sonic Generations, in the beginning with Sonic's party. When everyone surprises Sonic. Amy takes his hand to the table. While Sonic is talking to Tails, Amy is trying to hug Sonic but puts one hand out to hold her away. Once again, he is teasing her.

48) In the ending of Sonic Generations. When Amy smacks Knuckles against a tree for calling Sonic not "half-bad". Sonic looks at Classic Sonic then looks away being bashful and cracking a smile. Why did he do that if he didn't like her?

49) SPOILERS! In Sonic Lost World, (yes I have seen ALL the cutscenes). Sonic is friendly to Amy through this whole game. But one hint that he likes her is, when the world's energy was dying. So was Amy and Knuckles along with it. Amy called Sonic on the Miles Electric and told him it was too late. Sonic was panicked of course especially since he lost Tails earlier. Amy was about to tell Sonic she always loved him but the transmission cut off. Sonic's voice actually cracks when this happens. "AMY! KNUCKLES!" he shouts in panic. Later on, he tries to contact them again but he is saddened that he is all alone and sad music begins to play. Why did he feel this way if he doesn't like Amy?

Losing Tails first was a huge shock to Sonic. Tails' is his right-hand man in everything! And losing two more of his long-time buddies absolutely crushes him. Amy wasn't the only one that was lost in that catastrophe, remember? Knuckles was in it, too. Sonic called out for Knuckles as well, remember? He thought he was all alone in the new world with no friends to look out for. It's Sonic's purpose - to look out for them.

50) MAJOR SPOILERS! In the ending of Sonic Lost World, when the energy is restored to the world. Knuckles is playing with the animals in the background while Amy is looking at a butterfly on a flower. Sonic says "Hey Amy! Look's like springtime's come early!" When Amy says "Thanks to you and Tails!" Sonic is looking at her the whole time and smiling! Why did Sonic talk to Amy FIRST? He could have talked to Knuckles. But chose to talk to her instead! Plus why was he staring at her the whole time smiling?

Amy Rose is the first person he sees as he approaches the two, so of course he would speak to Amy first. When you speak to a person, you look at them as they respond. Do you not? He didn't stare at her that long in some loving fashion - Knuckles shoved Amy aside to complain. He was likely very glad that Knuckles and Amy were okay, and hadn't evaporated into the world's demise.

Longing-stares means nothing in Sonic. It only means something in the Twilight fandom (because Bella and Edward stare at each other longingly ALL THE TIME, it's creepy.)
