[Meaning to Name]
Elska's first name is Icelandic for the word "love, honey, or baby." The name itself is only known to be used for girls only, and it is an obscure version of the names "Elizabeth," and "Adelaide." The last name "Ruth" is not Icelandic at all. When Elska traveled to America, he took a underground train to New Jersery. He heard a couple speaking to each other in Swedish that he couldn't understand. However, the only thing he could make out was that the woman's name was 'Ruth.' So, Elska decided that would be his fake last name.

[Voice]
Elska has a deep, husky voice that is heavily influenced with his Icelandic accent. An Icelandic accent sounds like the person is British, with some minor vowels emphasized, such as more rolls to certain words or some words that sound unrecognizable. His voice is soothing and quiet, sometimes seeming as if Elska is mumbling. Despite being a mumbler, Elska is verbose with his words, sometimes impulsive and speaks before he acts.

[Weapon(s)]
Potent Knife: The saw's teeth are drenched in a homemade liquid form of "fentanyl" (this drug is powerful, only provided to cancer patients who are in severe pain. If someone is injected with this potent drug with a heavy dose, they will develop signs of overdosing, passing out, so that Elska can finish murdering them while they are in a deep sleep.)

Bouquet of Hammers: Elska loves flowers - especially cosmos and roses. He will bring either flowers in a giant bouquet, and bring them to any unsuspected victim that is home alone, visiting them late at night to their apartments/houses unexpected. When they have him in their interest, Elska removes a short claw-hammer (with a red handle) from within the flowers and forces them into their apartment to murder.

Bare-hands: He likes a personal kill with his bare hands.

[Method of Killing]
Elska is a sweet talker, who studies a bit of his victim before using their own likes and dislikes against them to get on their good side. He doesn't press on too much, giving the victim space to interpret the situation as they are being spoken to. Elska loves being a tease, but not for sexual gratification - this teasing is mostly giving as an innocent, friendly presence of wanting to know the person more, acting/pretend to be surprised or thrilled as he hears something new or gives them a laugh to a joke that they made. He makes them comfortable in their own skin, as Elska gives no criticism towards them. Elska pretends to act clueless to some topics, asking questions he already knows so that he can let the victim feel more self-fulfilling and more intelligent as they explain his questions.

Bringing them to his place, either by friendly request or force, Elska usually knocks his victims out with a sharp punch to their face, enough to crack the bridge of their nose. He brings them home and ties them up into bed or down in the basement. He explains what they're doing there, why they are there, and that they better learn how to behave or he'll make sure their 'visit' is numbered. Elska will let them soak in the situation by leaving them alone the while day, tied up and bound. The next day, Elska will return and start pestering them with gifts, flowers, food and clothes. He knows they want to refuse, but he assures them that he wants nothing more than to love and care for them. If they refuse, Elska will take one piece of clothing and choke them with it - not kill them, but torment them and leave them be. Sometimes he'll throw the food he made at them and call them horrible names.

It depends on how long a victim is worth to Elska. He interprets their worth by these constant visits and occasional times where he unties them and lets them roam the house, but he makes them wear handcuffs behind their backs so that they cannot grab at anything that'll act as a weapon. If he thinks you're cooperative, he'll let you live longer. If he sees that you are unwilling to change for him, he'll be sure to give you a few more hours of severe torment before murdering you.

[Goal/Reason to Kill]
Elska wants his Hania back. He knows he screwed up by killing her in the past, but he wholeheartedly believes that she can be resurrected through another woman that looks or feels just like Hania. He wants to have his precious snowflake back in his arms, and be sure she can never, ever leave him again.

[Personality]
Outside of this shell, Elska is possibly better known for his superifical charms and handsome looks, a straightforward guy that prefers his questions to be blunt and honest. His knack of giving the room a warm and welcoming presence with his own 'kindness' and humor is natural to him. Elska gives off an air of delight as he says what you wish you could, or he delivers the sense of superiority when you need it, already 'on your side' in any conversation and heavily agrees with whatever you say and sometimes gives knowledgable input that has you reeled in for more. A great people-person, Elska can make the most dullest of times the most enjoyable times.

On the inside however, Elska is a broken man that wishes nothing but destruction to the world, all-the-while stealing as many women out of their homes or schools just to collect and keep for himself. Elska thrives on pain and misery, as he puts himself on a throne while crowning himself as a loser king. He thinks highly of himself, even if he hates himself at the same time - he is indecisive and annoyed of himself, and wants everyone to know just how little to nothing they mean to him, and that they are all just dolls.

[Shortened Backstory]
Elska was a child of Sven (father) and Adela (mother) in the close-knitted community of Reykjavík, Iceland. As a child, Elska was only known as 'Elskan,' the proper pronounceation. He loved collecting bugs and jarring them into glass containers, frames or other forms of imprisonment just to hoard into his bedroom. He especially loved butterflies, seeing how beautiful they were. He enjoyed and played with the idea of how something so beautiful is so easy to kill. He had a brother (7 years older than Elska) named Steinn, who Elska looked up to, and would always speak highly of when he wasn't around. Steinn loved Elska back, being the only supportive figure in his life while their parents were subtly distant and kept to themselves, busy with church or work. Elska would often see Steinn and Sven fight, while Adela would try and defuse the situation before it got worse. It never came to that point of using fists (only twice it happened.)

One day, after two years of Steinn's high school graduation, Elska was alarmed one morning when his mother and father's cries of horror came from the kitchen. In the backyard, Sven found his older son hanging from the swing-set. Elska never saw his brother's dead body, but he knew something horrible had happened from the way Adela and Sven were in tears. He just wanted to see Steinn because he was so scared. For a week, Steinn was in the hospital, unconsious as the doctors found out that he had purposely overdosed on pain killers before hanging himself. Later on, the doctors and parents found through his psychiatrist that Steinn secretly issued a DNR, meaning 'do not resesitate.' He wished for death, and so the parents had no choice but to grant this. Since then, Elska and the family have not been the same.

Slowly the family began tearing apart little by little, as Sven blamed himself for his son's suicide (which made him turn to drinking.) Adela became a born-again Lutheran-Christian to try and mask her depression with religion, all the while trying to block Elska out of her life, because he couldn't let it go. Everyday Elska thought of his brother and wanted to talk about him, which immediately made both parents distant themselves from him. They didn't want to accept the fact that their dead son killed himself because of their actions, and thus, pushing Elska away more and more.

Elska became mute and scarred by the situation, the house was silent without Steinn, and the air became heavier. This is where Elska's hoarding accumilated, bringing home old dolls and more insects, or worthless furniture or books, anything that could give him the little satisfaction that nothing could ever leave his side again. Soon, mere objects were becoming meaningless as Elska craved attention and love from real people, however he had no idea how to even approach any. He grabbed as many textbooks from the library to understand facades and also study the school lives of his most outgoing peers. He wanted to be just like them - accepting, loved and supported.

 Sven Jónsson (Father, dead.) Sven (father) is a mean-spirited and spiteful man, who is scarred by the sight of his oldest son (Steinn) committing suicide. Since then, he has turned to drinking and constantly blaming himself for what happened. This has made him more angry and depressed, distancing himself from Elska everyday. Elska's father soon died of a failed liver (years of drinking,) before Elska turned 18-years-old.

 Steinn Jónsson Svenson (Brother, dead.) Steinn was Elska's big brother, 7 years older than Elska. He was Elska's best friend and person he could go to when he felt clammed up or when he wanted to vent about his Mom and Dad. Steinn died in 1998, hanging himself in the backyard. He couldn't take anymore of the constant verbal abuse and absence of love from his Dad, deciding to take his own life to escape the pain.

 Adela Leia Jónsson (Mother, alive.) Adela (mother) was born-and-raised in a broken home, but found salvation in God after “hearing him speak to her” after her oldest son's death. She wanted Elska to acknowledge God as well, but would eventually shove him away when he became unwillingly as a teen.

 Elska was created out of inspiration of Ted Bundy and The Son of Sam.
 Elska was also inspired by many stalker songs I’ve listened to.
